Application Process for a District Minister's License
 
To apply or re-apply for a District Minister's License on the Colorado District requires the following--click on the blue underlined items to download forms or information.
 
  1. Fill out application    Download the form ( Minister's License Application ), fill it out on line, email it to strostle@conazarene.org (you will have to sign it when you have your interview) or print a copy, sign it and mail it by March 10, 2008 to

  1. Recommendation      Download the form Local Church Board Recommendation, print it and have your pastor or church board secretary completeand mail it to the address listed above.
  1. Schedule your appointment     Download the schedule: District License or Ordination (by invitation only), select a time you would like to meet with the board, email that request to strostle@conazarene.org. Appointments are assigned on a first come, first assigned basis.NOTE: all pastors and staff ministers must schedule an interview each year. Students are required to have interviews every other year. Check the schedule later to be sure your name is on the list.
  1. Ask a minister ordained in the Church of the Nazarene to become your advisor/guide as you complete the course of study. This minister needs to be someone you can be fairly confident will be around throughout your preparation years. Bring the name with you to the interview. If you are not scheduled for an interview this year, e-mail the name to jchristy@conazarene.org.
  1. Download   (Advisor's Report to the Ministry Board ) and give it to your advisor to complete and return to the district office (address above) before you have your interview.
  1. Be sure your most recent studies have been reported to the district office.
