Last Sunday was Mothers day
Pentecost Sunday
60th Anniversary of the Israel becoming a nation. A critical event in biblical prophecy!
Had a delightful day at Greeley Sunnyview…
Pastor Vern & Eileen Carpenter have been pouring themselves into the labors at Sunnyview for the last 5 years. Pastor Carpenter is a soul winner. I have great admiration for his passion and drive to see lost people come to Christ. He not only preaches it but practices sharing the message of salvation one on one with lost people. He has testimonies to share of marvelous transformations of people coming to Christ thru these efforts. Pastor Vern recently went thru a difficult surgery but he is giving God praise for bringing him thru it and is back 90% to strength. I don’t know Vern’s age… he may be celebrating his 29th or 39th birthday for the 2nd or 3rd time but it doesn’t matter, he is such an encouragement to know that you can press forward in the ministry and be faithful and fruitful with joy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Vern is a living example that; Positive attitude is not a result or a response, it is a choice!!!

Golden Bell Barn raising
When: Memorial Day weekend
If you want to have a fun weekend and bring family and participate in some refurbishing and brushing up our camp for the summer ministries, Memorial day weekend would be a good time to do that. Doug has several little projects and there will be a lot of the Nazarene church family at the camp as they do these projects. There will be some fun times, inspirational services, and good food as well.
If you and your family or church family are interested call Golden Bell camp to reserve a spot. (719) 687-9561 |

EVERY PASTOR SAVE THE DATE: The Church is having a Holiness summit at Nazarene Bible College with a Hallmark list of speakers. Plans continue to develop toward the West Holiness Summit that will be held on the campus of Nazarene Bible College, September 7-9, 2008. We are very excited about the many dynamic speakers that will be on our campus during those days. For a schedule of events, go to the West Summit Home Page. While there, check out the speakers by clicking on the speakers link-box. If you click on the photos on the speakers page, you will find a brief biography of all of the scheduled speakers. Go to http://www.holiness-summit.com/West-Summit-Home.html |

Thank you pastors for your good labors over this past year. No doubt there is stress in pastoring but it also provides a pedestal on which great benefit and great blessing can result.
"Pastors, You are and will continue to reap a harvest if you don’t allow weariness in your well doing to paralyze you or defeat you!!!" (Gal 6:9 paraphrase my own) |

MINISTRY SHARES:
Here’s an update on how we are doing as a district with our ministry shares for others…
The Budget year is nearing the end and just a thought if you’re struggling with final year end budgets: An informed people are a giving people! And uninformed people are non-givers. |
