The purpose of this course is to help prepare Christian ministers in the Church of the Nazarene for ministry in a religiously pluralistic world in which there exists no single religious perception of reality that is universally applicable and binding; that is, the belief that no religion can legitimately claim to proclaim the truth for all persons. Central to the course is the question, How is one to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in a pluralistic world from within a Wesleyan theological perspective? This course will seek to answer that question, while being faithful to apostolic faith and doctrine that affirms that Christian faith is not just one more acceptable religious option among others.
