Becoming a Holy People

October 16/17 and October 23-24

This survey of the history and expressions of Wesleyan-Holiness theology will explore the scriptural and historical roots of the tradition, with special attention given to (1) the ancient Eastern writers who wrote in Greek; (2) the influence of John Wesley’s “Christian perfection” in the 18th century; (3) the theological changes that arose in the 19th century American Holiness Movement; and (4) 21st century expressions of the doctrine as a vital, experiential, and living theology.
